Senior Hardware Engineer – Power Electronics
Description:
Reputable well-established technology firm with an international presence; on-going growth has enabled them to expand their engineering facilities in the Northern Philadelphia Suburbs. In particular, we are seeking a well-rounded Senior Hardware Design Engineer to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. Qualified candidates are experienced Electronics Engineers with a broad background in analog design; ideal candidates have experience working with power electronics (and/or motor controls) in a product-development environment. The company offers a dynamic environment and competitive compensation.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
· Work in cross-functional teams to develop new products, provide technical support, and provide necessary estimates.
· Lead research projects through complete life-cycle development (concept, specification, design, testing, documentation, etc.)
QUALIFICATIONS:
· BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent knowledge and experience is required.
· 3+ years work experience in product development environment.
· Hands-on experience working with full life-cycle product development (cradle-to-grave).
· Broad experience working with Analog Electronics design.
· Experience working with motor controls (i.e. servo).
· Experience working with high-power electronics (up to 1500 volts preferred).
