Software Engineer

Philadelphia, PA

Responsible for development of search related technology products.

Core Duties/Responsibilities

·         Participate in cross-functional projects to develop new and enhance existing search related technology solutions.

·         Develop and test new products and refine existing ones.

·         Troubleshoot and fix current software issues doing whatever is necessary to keep the systems running smoothly.

Qualifications:

·         Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET and T-SQL coding.

·         In depth knowledge of the .NET Framework and managed code philosophies.

·         Strong knowledge of building, managing and deploying applications on Windows Server 2003, IIS 6.0 and SQL      Server 2000.

·         Strong product lifecycle skill set, from requirements development and planning, through development, test and delivery.

·         Collaborative development style that includes technical and non-technical team members.

·         Experience with Windows Forms development in C# and multi-threaded application design a plus.

Education and/or Experience

·         BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

·         5+ years of hard-core software development of production systems.

·         Success at participating in cross-functional development teams.

·         Continuing education in software development practices.
