Position Summary

Our client is the world’s leading developer and manufacturer of precautionary safety products for travel, weather, and transportation. They are searching for qualified and dedicated individuals who want to make a difference in the safety of travelers worldwide. As a growing company, they are looking for top-tiered individuals to assist in their continued growth and success.

Essential Functions

·          Design, develop, test, document and support electronic subsystems and circuit boards related to new product introduction, cost reduction, or feature enhancement for electronic products.

·          Oversee schematic capture and layout working with CAD.           

·          Generate test specifications, execute tests, interpret, and document results. Confirm design reliability through effective test plans, test fixtures, and thorough testing.     

Requirements:

·          5+ years experience in professional hardware development specifically related to the development and support of microprocessor based embedded systems.

·          Demonstrated use of schematic capture, layout, and electrical simulation tools.

·          Demonstrated experience with firmware development in C or other high level language is a plus.
