GUI Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Individual and collaborative design of critical parts of the user interface (Swing interface)
• Individual contributor responsible for the implementation, debugging, delivery, and maintenance of those GUI components
• Work closely with other talented software and QA engineers to build a quality product

Qualifications: 

• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent
• Excellent programming and software design skills in Java and Swing
• Experience with user interface design and visual presentation
• In depth knowledge of presentation technologies for large datasets
• Strong technical written and verbal communication in English
• Comfortable working in a small, flexible and fast-paced environment

Additional Experience/Skills: 

• Network Management solutions
• RMI/SOAP interfaces
• WEB development
• IP networking, especially good knowledge of routing
• Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.
